Are you thirsty for success but much better at climbing than your actual job? Our made-up company gives everyone a chance - anyone who joins the team (buys a ticket) is automatically an unpaid intern as soon as they walk in the door.

Climb the Ladder, an Oddity fundraising event supporting their new show, Dreaming Revenge - a dark-comedy set in an office, exploring obsession, the dangerous spiral into betrayal, and the psychology of revenge.

In Oddity’s new show, mental health is a key focus, and what better way to boost your well-being than climbing with your pals up the ladder of an imaginary corporation?

Ditch the oxford’s your mom makes you wear, put on some climbing shoes, and come climb the ladder of our made-up company - who knows, maybe you’ll make partner and get a big bonus at the end!

How to climb the ladder: 

Everyone starts off at level 1 as an unpaid intern, and needs to earn promotions by completing tasks. Your objective will be to get as high in the corporate hierarchy, so at the end of the quarter (event) you’ll get a big bonus (prize). There are 7 levels in total - so 6 tasks; but not everyone can make partner! The finance department announced it’s been a tight year, and not everyone will get bonuses. 

We've got all essential elements for success: useless tasks, subjective supervisors, mouthwatering baked treats in the breakroom, music to power your climb, drinks to numb corporate hypocrisy, and prizes that'll make it all worth it and will get you strategizing like a corporate titan.

No need for formalities; just come as you are and climb the ladder of success to support mental wellness and the arts in the most fun way possible. See you at the top, climbers!

Fundraiser:

£3 for every ticket sold will be donated to Oddity to help them make and stage their show.

There will also be a bake sale at the event, with all proceeds being donated to Oddity.

Breakout space:

It’s important that we step off that never ending ladder and take some time for ourselves to release stress and frustrations.

There will be a breakout space adjacent to the bake sale where you can grab a slice of cake, relax and have a chat. Take sometime to write, play with some playdough or just have a chat with someone - remember your mental wellbeing is far more important than the top of that ladder!
