Under a 10 minute walk from the new City Hall, Rise Climbing is an independent climbing centre in Canning Town.

Rise Climbing is hosting a GLA social on Tuesday 26th November at 6pm. The GLA have paid for 26 free spaces to kick things off.

Due to limited free spaces please book in advance via the link below.

If you have not climbed before that’s no problem. A Rise staff member will get you fitted into some climbing shoes and then run you through a safety induction. Once the safety bit is out of the way, we will get you started climbing!

All you need to do is come in clothes you feel comfortable exercising in. There are toilets, showers, changing facilities, and lockers on-site and you can borrow a padlock for free if you don’t have your own.

We also have a fully stocked bar with cocktails, beers and wine, for a refreshing post-climb drink!

Outside of any specific events organised with the GLA, we also offer a 10% discount to all GLA staff on climbing at Rise - this includes single entries, 10 entry punchcards, and monthly memberships. To redeem this offer please just bring your GLA ID card. All our prices can be found here
