What’s the plan?
To celebrate Lunar New Year we are hosting a party at Rise!
We know LNY is on the 29th, so the Rise Party is a bit late, but we didn’t want to encroach on family time people have planned! Hopefully it’s a nice way to keep the celebrations going.
We have a really diverse community at Rise and we want to create a space where everyone feels welcome and can come and share their own traditions
Climbing
We are setting some new blocs specially for the evening. These blocs will have some little goodies at the top which will enter you into the red packet raffle!
Pot luck
We want to celebrate everyone’s own cultural and family traditions for LNY, and create an event where people can share these with everyone.
If you are able, please bring something for the pot-luck that you might have at home with friends and family to celebrate LNY.
We will provide steamed dumplings, pot-stickers, oranges and a few other snacks, so their should be plenty of food to share even if not everyone can bring something!
If you are bringing food, please can you let us know if it has any allergens, and if it is vegetarian or vegan.
Red packet raffle
At the top of each climb, there will be a basket with little goodies inside. Some of these will enter you into a raffle for red packets!
Each red packet will have a different prize e.g. stickers, gear, rise bucks etc.
We will be drawing the raffle at 9pm!
